Much of James May's wardrobe seems to be chosen to portray him as the lovable eccentric that he is--including the fact that his wardrobe itself is pretty limited--but the black T-shirt and jeans combination that he wore [rocked] on the Isle of Man recently....Eccentric?......No, not so much.

AMC has put me on a forced hiatus from the 'Breaking Bad' marathon--Season 5 reruns don's begin until late tonight. So in the meantime, I'll tell you that Wikipedia has once again given me an insight into an actor and his character with comments that Bryan Cranston has made about his childhood--

 "My mom and dad were both broken people, and because of that, they were incapacitated as far as parenting. They weren't capable, and we lost the house in a foreclosure. We were kicked out."

Bryan Cranston is partly English on his father's side, so he qualifies as today's Brit.  He is a huge inspiration to me since he got this 'role of a lifetime' when he was about my age.  I can't wait for tomorrow night's finale. I really wish him well in his life after BB--can't hope for the same where Walter White is concerned.

It starts tonight!!  'The Hollow Crown' 4-part series from BBC starts tonight on PBS.  The first episode is 'Richard II,' for which Ben Whishaw won a BAFTA.  One more week, then, until Hiddles becomes Prince Hal.

I was thinking about James Blunt and googled a picture of him in uniform, was then reminded of how many photos I've filed away of Brits dressed for battle [Jason Isaacs is particularly good at this], and went kind of berserk with this post.  I have to say, the additional swag of the fighter pilot make Tennant and May look pretty good.
