The "Brit a Day" series

What does a months-long parade of attractive British men have to do with fiction, you might well ask? These gentlemen have inspired some lovely scenes, part of the life I live in my head. Over time, some of these scenes reach out to one another and begin to form a story. For the present, each one of these pictures provides a writing prompt for me, a way to keep me writing with a sense of passion and narrative, even when the stories are not yet fully formed.

A Brit a Day [#279]

Oops. I knew I was forgetting something yesterday. Let this post be for yesterday, Saturday.

I saw the midnight showing on opening day of HP and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. I loved it. It is bleak. As my husband says, the book is gray, so it's appropriate that the movie isn't so much a dark story as a chilling one. It is also tinged with sadness that it is an end of an era.

This lady, Emma Watson, has outdone herself in it.
